Last updated: 30 October 2026. This notice covers information submitted through the Handpan Soul 7-Day Handpan Calm Guide, the SOUL8 (8th anniversary) learning card form, and our Instagram DM flows (for example replying CALM or SOUL).

What we collect

Plunk receives your email address and optional first name for delivery. Our Cloudflare ledger stores a keyed contact identifier, consent version and purposes, campaign attribution, and delivery or engagement status. A pending delivery envelope is encrypted; the ledger has no plain-email field.

Why we use it

We use this information to deliver the requested guide, send the short follow-up series and occasional Handpan Soul marketing emails you agreed to receive, measure the campaign, prevent duplicate sends and abuse, honour opt-outs, and maintain consent and delivery records.

If you order

When you place an order on handpansoul.com, our shop tells the ledger the email on the order so we can stop sending you offer emails for a campaign you have already bought from. We keep only the keyed contact identifier and the date; order contents and payment details stay in the shop.

Links and replies

Our SOUL8 links count clicks by channel (for example an Instagram story or an email) without identifying you. If you reply NOTES, we count the request and answer you in Instagram or WhatsApp.

Who processes it

Handpan Soul controls this funnel. Zernio operates the Instagram conversation, Cloudflare provides the API and ledger, Plunk processes email contacts and delivery, and WooCommerce runs the shop. These providers process data to operate the service.

Advertising

Consent given in these flows does not authorise an uploaded advertising customer list. We do not store or export an advertising email hash from this flow. Instagram may provide audiences based on engagement that already occurred inside its platform, subject to Instagram's controls.

Retention and your choices

The encrypted delivery envelope is purged after successful delivery or a terminal failure. We keep pseudonymous consent and delivery records while reasonably needed for compliance and service integrity. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete your information.
